Does Cuhshcraft still make the 10 element Vertical / Horizontal beam?
That's what Bob uses. He just took off the vertical elements. It's not  
the most optimized antenna in the world, but I think it might work  
better than an antenna made for satellite work.
I did a search for it, but didn't come up with anything. You might be  
able to find something used on QRZ. It certainly would be less  
expensive than the M2
