H&Y Electronics has a web special on Hy-Gain's AR-303 for $74.95. I think it's 
very similar to the small RadioShack type a few of us here have used....maybe 
it's a cut above. Any input out there?

While you're looking, they have RM brand,Italian made 2 meter amps on special 
$70. 7w in - 45w out. RM  mostly makes cheap cb amps...but hey...it's $70.
