Heh heh....you KNOW that is not what I meant by "Doing radio", but indeed, it does qualify!!

I just wish you still did THIS kind of radio too.......

Speaking of YOUR kind of radio, talked to Willie last night......."Here is another real toe-tapper for you on Milford's only Christian station!"......

Just back from a weekend of station remotes.

Unfortunately we were not in the vicinity to do a live RF shot but the Comrex phone codec gave us broadcast quality audio at just a 24kBps connection. Fed the Comrex box with my trusty first gen Optimod 8000 compressor/limiter. Control board was a Mackie 14 channel with 2 wired mikes and one wireless mike and one wireless headset. Station programming (music, commercials et al) ran on-site through a clone of the station automation control center. Sweet.

  73 and safe travels all

In the shack working on projects here today.

Noting full US coverage on 10 meters (including AM and FM simplex), and activity on most of the lower bands.

6 is open as well, though so far not impressively strong.

Unfortunately, there seems to be more line noise here than usual...likely a result of heavy power use on this holiday weekend as well as the breezes.

What is everyone else up to?
