[450] simplex search

Doing my usual simplex search tonight, I ran across a guy Bruce, N2HBB down in East Islip, LI.......the south shore.
He's got a triple 5/8 2m/440 and a small vertical yagi.   He's about 30 over (internal amp off, preamp on, filter on) with my verticals pointed at him.
He hangs out with a bunch of guys on 146.535 and seems excited about hearing activity and news of our activities.  If anyone gets a chance, drop by and say "Hi" to him and reinforce the invite to visit with us if not join us.  Might be a good connection for Tom when he's down at the summer place as well....."Oy!  Give me a hand with my antenna?"

Continuing my search, in the shack for a bit more tonight.....
