Really? The washers were the most expensive parts? I can't believe that!

How many elements is this bohemoth going to be? How much is it gonna weigh? have you considered it might sag due to the long boom length?

Also, since your history with feedline is not what I would call stellar, what are you planning to feed it with? please tell me you will be deep-sixing my 10+ yrs old cast off solid core 9913 

which is filled with more water than the erie canal. And please try not to ingest or otherwise absorb any.


P.S Good job, kid. As always, I am impressed with your skill and dedication. Just have to bust your balls a little as usual ;-)

   I just found nylon retaining washers for like $18 per 500.. still looking for aluminum ones for next time since the stainless steel ones were the bulk of your cost.

    Very exciting stuff. Nothing like "rolling your own" for the best
