So the shim stock came in and I've got all three 8' sections stuck together EXTREMELY tightly. The boom looks great and is absolutely massive. I took a few pictures of the boom up on the drill press and roller stand, but I'm not sure the pictures I've attached really do the 24 foot boom justice. It's massive in real life. Check it out...let me know what you all think. Tomorrow I'm going to drill all the holes and cut the elements and then it's on to the t-match. Hopefully this behemoth will be up and on the air for the weekend (although I think Dave and I are going to die trying to get this sucker up on the roof). John
