Was up on the old roof earlier. I managed to bend the mast pipe back to a relatively straight position, as you can see from the before and after pics below. I have a new piece of pipe ready to install, but it will have to wait till spring as it requires taking down the stack and that requires at least two people. Hopefully we don't get any more crazy storms.... :-0

<div>It's purely speculation, but I think the way the lower pipe bends is actually helpful. You'd rather have that take the strain and bend then the upper mast snap. Before Sandy, I used the cheaper TV Type mast for the lower portion, and that snapped. Of course it was a good 15 or 20 years old.</div>
