</div>I'd be happy to help you with modeling your Cushcraft beam as well - on the one condition that you make an attempt to work us all up here in Connecticut! Even from your home QTH with your beam pointed up this way and 50 watts from the
 Mark IIG, there are stations here that most likely could pull you out !!<br clear="none">

with I2FAK .My station Icom 706MllG 50 watts, battery powered my antenna is a
Cushcraft A148-10S. My antenna was set up on the beach on the Jersey shore ,the
weather was brutal, <span> </span>high winds and surf .
My antenna was at a height of 9/10 feet; moon rise was 13:00 UTC and running
WSJT65b . What a sight when I saw:“OOO” then” RRR”. Franco report to me was
-31/32 ,I’ll take it. I think I’m hooked. My next attempt I will use my I Com
746 pro much better radio and 100 watts . Also I must operate portable due to
the high trees in my yard. However, the beach is only a few miles from my home.
Maybe this spring I will upgrade to a 17B2.</font></div><div><font face="Times New Roman">
