I moved the antenna to different spots on the roof but it didn't make any difference. Her car *is* pretty small, but I ran a crappy radio shack cb mag mount cut to 10m on my old VW Rabbit and it worked fine. Her car is that much smaller.<br>

I tried a few different "known good" jumpers. The antenna is brand new.<br>
You'd think the feedline would be okay. Bob came over last week-end with<br>
his antenna analyzer, but we just ended up sitting out on the deck shootin'<br>

Cannot tune antenna to under 2/1, made a 5 inch 5 turn choke from<br>
coax...no difference. I move my hand close to the rig and the swr goes down<br>
and then back up again. Moving the power cord or mic cable wildly effects<br>
the swr. I've installed bunches of rigs in cars, but I've never seen this<br>
kind of behavior with an antenna.<br>
