a short STEEL support pipe IN the tripod, then a really long ALUMINUM
pipe in the rotor and all the way up.......</FONT></DIV>

out of the tripod, and 15' of smaller steel mast (a 10' and 5' bolted together)
and two thrust bearings, one at the top of the support pipe and one in the
middle. A lot more stable, but still making a rather silly effort to make
the 10' tower into something it really isn't.....time will tell if this holds
up....from about a foot above the crossboom and up is still aluminum though,
only supporting the loops......</FONT></DIV>
