Attached is what I'd do (everything is to scale, estimated on the loops, and adjust the spacing to your liking. You can get the thrust bearing from Stark Electronics in Worchester, Mass for $20 or so. Drive or ship up to you, but I wouldn't do it with out dropping the rotor and using a thrust bearing, similar to Bob's setup and the poll in my back yard that you see so often. <br>

What was hanging me up, Bob, was I was remembering the beam in my attic in Woodbury and I had to have tons of slack because the antenna was mounted just above the rotor (the rotor was fixed to the attic floor.) <div><font size="2" face="Arial">dress the cable from the beam in a straight line domn the mast with wire ties ont he OPPOSING side of the mast from the "rotor stop"......put the LAST wire tie (idealy MORE than one at this point) a foot or two above the rotor. With the antenna turned halfway through rotation (if your "stop is NORTH, then point it SOUTH) bulge the cable out a foot or more so it makes a hump in the same direction the antenna is pointed, then start strpping it to the mast BELOW the rotor at about a foot or two down the mast and continue down with your ties.</font></div>
