Someone was looking specifically for a phone app to be able to pick up the audio through the phone and decode it on screen, so that is why I passed it on. I'd just like to hear comments on how well it works...or not.

No not yet. I use JTDX for ft8. Its free and does rig control. I hook up my radio with a digirig. https://digirig.net/
Its simple and does all things digital. SSTV, FT8, packet, winlink. wspr etc etc. You can get it right on amazon and get premade cables for just about any radio.

   All,

There has been some discussion among those of you "digitally inclined" about it being nice if there was an app that would allow you to hold the phone up to the sound of the digital signal and have it decode it for you.
According to WB2JAY, there IS such an app. for just a few dollars. It is called "IFTX"
