Very nice- When is was 17 (in 1977) I got a job at a stereo store in suburb of Chicago. It was a dream job! Needless to say I had a top of the line system, but it is gone now...

As most of you know, I love vintage Ham stuff. But I also collect vintage Stereo equipment, and have a pretty good collection already. Sansui, Fisher, Realistic (a lot of their stuff from the early to mid 70's was actually high quality), etc. But this is the first Sony I have come across.Excellent cosmetic condition, just the tiniest scratch on the silver face next to the tuning meter. Wood grain is in great shape, no chips or damage. This is just a tuner, no built in amp. Friend of mine said SONY made a matching amp for it, but I am just running it into my little Lepai 20W amp for now. Reciever works fine, even with just a foot long scrap of wire for an FM antenna. Iv'e always loved Sony stuff....very high build quality in my experience. Only thing that doesnt seem to work is the tuning needle and maybe one green light in the upper right of the circular dial. The red "Stereo" works in the tuning window, but is hard to see in my crappy picture. The green glow is pretty cool... Anyone have any info on this model? Should I use the Low output or High? I'm guessing this model is ~1968-1972...
Other than this just picked up a couple of External speakers and a few other odds and ends, nothing crazy. Didnt see any 220 stuff :-(
Peace out...
