For anyone who is interested, listen for the K1MAL to beacon every 16
minutes on 144.030 1200 baud AFSK packet.

Or try to send it a "c k1mal-1" command and report back S units and how you
are hearing it!

Rich, how many S units where you getting on it last night?

Currently it's running a Comet GP-1 @ 20W at about 50 ft AGL from my
location which is approximately 800ft MSL.

Remember to set the Tx drive levels on your TNCs so that the high tone
(2200hz) deviates +/- 3.5khz for smoothest packet operation. A Txdelay of
30 tends to work well for most.
