Unless you have moisture in the connector or some other coaxial issue, the 
first thing to check is at the set screws that hold in the internal copper 
sections.  Otherwise, a defect in the base.  Not much else can go wrong!

  screwed up the CX-333 install -- swr is 2.0 at 5 watts on 2 meters. 
Never-mind 70cm. Thought that message went thru on the smartphone. Gonna 
wait till kc2ghv comes by next saturday to help me sort it out. Yeah I know 
we're about yagis, just thought I'd mention it. Looks huge from street 
level, hopefully no one complains.
