Don't quote me on this because utc still confuses me, but I thought I read
on arrl.net it starts at 1900utc which is 7pm, I'm having an anomoly as
well, pissing me off, when I turn on the amp now without the preamp my
noise level goes up to almost 20 over and when I switch on the preamp it
goes down to s8 or so with it off no noise at all.
