This was a trial run with my Yaesu FT'221. Just trying to make sure I was on frequency.  I was transmitting on 144.450 through my beam and recording off my TH-F6 Kenwood HT in my family room upstairs from the shack. Couldn't find anyone to talk to so I just recorded my signal with my cell phone. It's a good start.  Hand mic but probably not a Yaesu. Should get amp today. I believe the Yaesu is putting out about 9 watts last time I checked. Amp drive is 10. Bob this is for you, I sent you a picture a long time ago of this radio, which was Bills, wa2wej. It has a relay and an rca plug for driving an amp. Not sure how Bill set up the keying. How can I verify it is positive or negative keying? Charlie N1LU
