Weird - some of my text got scrambled up in the last e mail.

Quoting William Knapp / WA1WK <kc1wj at kc1wj.com>:

I have one that was on my parent's car since 1959. It has a 1963
registration sticker on it. Here's a photo.

If you notice, there are holes next to the sticker. 2 on the right side and
one on the left. Before 63, rget wesed to send you a little metal plate
with 3 tabs on it that clipped into those holes. That was for the
expiration date. So cool, right?

Quoting John Foege <john.foege at gmail.com>:

Its actually upsetting to me that I cant get my hands on one of these
fantastic old style CT plates..... On Aug 16, 2015 4:41 PM, "Robert

By old, I mean really old, when CT had the dark blue plates. I got this in
1990.

I really liked the look of the old blue and white plates.
