[450] iced up

We got 6 inches of wet heavy snow up here. We currently have only generator
power (and battery backup for the radios).
I have the 2 M ssb stuff up and running. Have 100 W to an M2 loop about 12
to 15 feet above ground. Nothing heard on 144.200. Currently, for grins,
listening to 450. Nothing heard, no response to calls.
HF stuff is fine, both the Cobra 73' and 140' are fine. The 140 is hanging a
bit lower than normal.
I will be at the radio until the beef stew is ready or I have to refuel
generator should anyone want to try contact on 160 M through 2 M.
George
