William,

I love the idea. Interesting and rare grid squares - I'm up for great ideas.

Also you may want to activate some really rare grid squares. There a a bunch that are 99% over water with just a bit of beachfront area in the grid. Mountaintopping is a blast but I have sorked some serious coastal tropo by parking at various waterfront areas. I'm attaching a PDF grid square map that you can zoom in on.
See you on the air!

George,

Thanks for the details on your end.   Definitely pass the word when you run your operations off Rattlesnake, etc.  I will definitely look to make contact and, more importantly, help encourage activity as you're "activating" the mountain.    On a side note, I simply love New Hampshire, and often have considered moving to southern New Hampshire. and working in Boston.  But my greatest career opportunities are in the "big city" down here ....alas.

Typically, on my end, I have a master DX TOUR email list where I send out the official times/frequencies/locations of expeditions.
Also maintain, a social page and video page to share the news, content and stories from "on the road."

Thanks again, and always up for anyone's else trips and excursions, as well as my own!

Shawn,

Please keep me posted on your schedule! I have a decent location for HF in New Hampshire. I have an approx. 70 foot dipole looking N/S for 80 through 10 M and ~140 foot dipole looking E/W for 160 through 6 M. I have limited VHF/UHF antennae at this point. Before the summer is out, I hope to have a reasonably effective ground mounted vertical for 80 through 12 M.

I also plan on doing some high points and hill tops in NH using the FT817. My activity will be primarily on 40, 20, 17 and 10 M on an endfed or something vertical where horizontal is not possible. My first will be West Rattlesnake Mtn. in Holderness NH. Although only a little over 1200 ft., It has a really great LOS view!

Hi Everyone,

I"ve had the honor of making some awesome contacts with many of you during some radio adventures across the states in past years - Bob, William, Mike, Dave, several others.  And after a long layoff, I'm aiming to make another run at mountaintops/coastline spots (DX TOUR) once again....

I'd greatly value any ideas or input from this group for great locations/great spots that you think would be intriguing to connect from or to!  Here was my initial "hit list" - what do you think?   What would be top choices from the list below? Any other suggestions?

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer...
