[450] Thinking out loud: 2M antenna installation

I hear a picket fencing sound, but no voice. I called using
voice and CW (20 wpm and 10 wpm). I could not hear you.
There was activity just above noise floor on the waterfall.
I have no trouble with Texas today and in the past. Also
Virginia was not a problem. Perhaps we are too close for
conditions. Also the cross polarization may be a factor.

It would be interesting to try 40 M. I have no problem with
CT stations in the morning. If you are interested, let me
know. Usually talk to stations running 100W.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to try!

Gave you a a few cals on 28.510 running full power. Didn't
hear anything from you. Did you hear me at all? You're about
160 miles away. Shouldn't be a problem, really.
