I also have a Kenwood tr-7850. Works fine when I last used it, we can  
fire it up if you want to come over. I used to use it on packet. No  
Mic - I ended up using the mic on another rig since I was using this  
one on packet. I have the mic plug though. I'm thinking 60 bucks or a  
cool trade. Rock on.
