[450] Last night's storm.

It is the autonomic response of an anti-religious zealot. Such people have a
low tolerance for anything that gives the remote appearance of a religious
discussion or anything that differs from their brand of dogma. It was
probably the mention of ".parts storms like the Red Sea.". Mention of
"Holy Land" and the "Cross", regardless of context can trigger the hate
expression also. See the signature line. It is of interest to note that
Culbertson was elected in 1939, a lot of interesting historical characters
in that era!

I say that it has been a detriment to the progress of civilization, and I
would also say this: that the emancipation of the mind from religious
superstition is as essential to the progress of civilization as is
emancipation from physical slavery. Culburt Olson, Gov. of California

I've often wondered how/why Waterbury parts storms like the Red Sea...

Mountains?

Yeah, it was crazy!
I was watching the animated weather map and it actually split in half
and went to the north and south of us. I guess the coast got hit
pretty band as well.

Quoting Leslie <partybug at charter.net>:

Newtown got hit numerous times, but the only thing I know of in
Newtown that resulted from it was a 15 car pile up that took hours
to clear. Danbury, condo got hit and caught fire. We had a strike
in front of us while I was filming it. I will send it when I get it
cropped.

Although it pretty much went around us, it seems like it did a lot

How did everyone make out?
