Ha ha...I heard him drop his call on 450 the other day. God help us if he comes back on the frequency....

Even if we don't feel the same (though I'm sure some/most of us do, just are too manly to admit it), we'd rather have you back than listen to the mindless drivel spewing from my neighbor here in Newtown.....
Overheard on the weekend (from the basement of his parent's house still) :  "I might be expecting a child soon...."

There really ought to be a law about people like that breeding....

I also heard him talking to a rather learned extra class operator who had just told him he'd already put up (and used with good results) an antenna for 2/440 and described the install in detail.......he responded:

"Yeah, you shouldn't have any problem with that, that sounds like it'll work, just don't forget to check the SWR before you use it........what frequency is this going to be for again?"

He was also calling his mobile colinear 5/8 over a 1/4 vertical whip on a ground plane a "stacked array"........

Like fingernails on a blackboard.....
