Hi all,

I continue to try and reassure myself, that asking the following
questions is not dumb, and that the infinite resources of my guru HAM
friends back in the States will be able to aide me in my quest for gear.

Anyone have any European contacts or tips on gear? I haven't found many
useful German sites. My next avenue of attack will be the UK, as I'm
guessing they will have more of the gear we are used to in the states.
(We are a bit spoiled when it comes to good gear though, I must say,
e.g. try and find Bird meters here in Europe in the same vast quantities
and prices as in the States).
