Did you see my repeater lists?  Probably small potatoes compared to your footprint on the hill.....

We used the actual APRS frequency last launch but this time we wanted a 5 second interval.  It turns out the APRS nazis get grumpy when you use an interval less than like a minute.  So we used 144.38 rather than 39.  Anyway because we were on the alternate frequency we wont come into any digipeaters/i gates.  The situation looks grim.  I might try one more flight from the plane to looks for this thing tomorrow.  We flew about 275 miles yesterday and could not hear the beacon.

Tyler,

Can the APRS be tracked with the "Find U" APRS mapping application?  If so, what is the call sign or identifier?

It did not go up until about 4:30.  Looks like we had a controller issue of some kind :(  Gonna try to track it down tomorrow from the air.

Our weather balloon is going to be launched in a little while from new york, here is the expected path:

There is an aprs beacon on 144.38, and a low power beacon on 433.88ish.

You should be able to hear it CT way after about 40,000 feet.
