All true, never debunked, but amazingly our pal Charlie is uncharacteristically venturing outside of his safety zone and showing a brave, adventurous ham radio spirit.....and I for one will not deter his efforts to beat mother nature for the sake of a bigger signal!

  Long ago I had heard that masts & antennas vibrating in the 
  wind break down the mortar in brick chimneys making chimney mounts 
  bound to fail expensively over time, & the larger the array or longer 
  the mast the greater the risk. Has this been debunked?
