These will mount on a 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 in a mast on top of the Windham
Mountain Base Lodge.

Hey Jay, no vacation with this crummy new situation, but I take advantage of

days off to do the L.I. thing (didn't think grass could get so thick growing

in sand). Just got back last night and read this this morning before woik.
Ok, sounds like the fm broadcast band lp thing somewhere 88-108MHz. Antenna
will be a little longer/bigger than 2 meter. I see Bob's been thinkin' this
through already.
Hey Bob...remember I have those guts and radomes from the PA555 like
antennas complete with mast mounting stuff and 18" radials with 1/4-20
threads. Wha-da-ya think on getting rid of the matching crap inside, run a
1/4 wave element inside the bottom section only, cap the radome with a
glue-on pvc cap. Sleeving appropriate size tubing over the radials and
crimping tight for metal to metal contact. It would be a very sturdy but
simple 1/4 wave. Maybe we could turn it into something more elaborate
gain-wise if needed.
We could get together with the stuff and I'll bring the fishing pole for
tree antenna work
....kill two birds.
Pipe
