The ICOM 706 should be back this week.

ICOM had to replace the VSWR protection diodes on the output and do a factory re-align.

Only 80 bucks and the thing is like new again. After hearing what they replaced and did, I realized I could have done the work myself, but I didn't want to take any chances on a radio like that after a lightning strike.

I'd especially hate to have to try and open that beast up and work on it.

So hopefully I'll be making an appearance on 450 again soon.
