Here are a few closer pics of the "main stack" improvements.

Weedy with the keen eye was able to notice that the way I had the scanner antenna mounted on the mast below the 2/440 stick was quite bad, so I was able to improve it somewhat with spare parts and very little effort. It is now about 8.5" away from the mast whereas before it was only 2.5". Not much difference, but I will work on fabricating a bracket to get it a little farther away. Even with that small change I can notice about an S-unit better on most signals, so as usual the weedmaster was correct!! You can see the before and after pics of that below, as well.
