[450] 6 meters, etc

Listening to CT1WB, Cesar, in Portugal racking up the contacts on 50.140.
Strangely, I am getting extremely strong signals from close in (Delaware for instance) calling him.....and this is with my antenna to Europe!
I suspect there is a lot of short AND long path stuff going on. 
Interesting.
!0 is of course wide open apparemtly to everywhere as well....
I'm in the shack disecting amplifiers and hoping at least one of them will be operational both TX and RX later.....

What is everyone else doing today?
