Subject: [VHF] New 144.250 SSB net for MI/OH/IN July 8th @2330 utc
To: vhf at w6yx.stanford.edu
Good morning,
KC9BQA here from EN63ao, or 40 miles north of Milwaukee.
I want to announce another SSB net for 2m that I'll be hosting. It will
start up tomorrow night at 2330 utc/7:30pm eastern. It will look for
check-ins only to the SSE thru NNE of my EN63ao location. Meaning Indiana,
Michigan, Ohio and beyond.
Full details have been posted on my website http://www.kc9bqa.com
Been wanting to do a net that looks east for some time; I get out very
well in that direction.
Help VHF activity levels by spreading the word to those who might be
interested in listening along or saying hello. I enjoy active nets with a
variety of check-ins from different areas.
For those of you who are S, SW, W, NW or N of me, know that we've been
hosting good nets on Wed. nights for a year now, and everyone is welcome to
check in. Again, full details are at http://www.kc9bqa.com
If you're within 200-400 miles of Milwaukee, I've got a net that includes
you every Wed. night.
Hope everyone is getting ready for the July CQ WW VHF contest (6 and 2
meters only) on July 18-19. And getting ready for the Aug UHF contest on
Aug. 1-2. I know I am.
73,
Todd KC9BQA EN63ao 40 N of Milwaukee
50 thru 2304
